Inheritance Share In Addition Made To The Property
My father in his life time gifted each of us siblings some property (a commercial building in which he gave each of us discreet sections).
After he passed away one of my brothers using his own initiative rented the roof of this combined property to someone (he was given the part of the top floor of the building).
Will this addition to the combined property included in inheritance?
I feel it should not be as but one of my siblings think it should be. What does islamic law says about this?

In such case, a legal advice is required which you can obtain from an advocate. If it comes out that the roof is a combined property, then it will add to the combined inheritance, if the roof proved to be legally your brother’s it will be his right to take the rent and the addition will be in his share only.
