    According to van putten Al tabari never heard of the variants reported by hafs why is this the case if he is qirat Al ammah.

    Please share proper reference to where Van Putten has said it to better understand the context

    As far as I’m aware this is all he has said in relation to Dr shezads work. He also says shuba reading agrees more with Asim than hafs according to Al farra.
