Is It Fard To Recite Long Surahs During Fajr Prayer?
Asselamu aleyküm,
Is it obligatory or recommended to recite longer verses from the Holy Qur’an, during the Fajr prayer.
As per;
[This phase is certainly difficult; so in order to acquire patience and perseverance in it,] be diligent in the prayer from the setting of the sun to the darkness of the night and especially in the recital of fajr because the recital of fajr is in the presence. (The Glorious Qur’an 17:78)
Kindly clarify.
