Will Hijab Apply To The Present-day Descendants Of Ahl Al-Bayt?
Asselamu aleykum,
According to Ustad-e-Mohtaram (ha), Hijab was only for Ummahatul Mu’minin and the other family of the prophet (sav), because, the disbelievers were trying to scandalize the character of our holy prophet and his family. So, my question is does this apply to the present-day descendants of Ahl al-Bayt? Because, i’ve seen on instagram, that a man was targeting our Holy Prophet (sav) by representing the picture of the House of Hashim of Jordan, who are the descendants of Hz. al-Hasan (ra), the grandson of the Prophet (sav). Because, they don’t wear the jilabib or hijab.
Kindly clarify.

Also, does that apply to the Ahl al-Bayt other than the Sayyids (or Shurafa)? such as, Alavis, Abbasids, Ja’faris, Aqilis, etc? Who are from the Family of our Holy Prophet (sav), but not from the progeny of the Prophet (sav), himself.

No, those requirements were time-specific for people of that time only.
