Is Boxing Haram?
Some scholar says hitting on the face is haram in every situation
Which don’t make sense to me,
Is it haram to hit on the face to somebody,
Or to do boxing as a hobby but not as a profession
Bcz maybe profession is harmful ,
And what if you are training boxing or karate or taekwondo with opposite gender as she/he is your teacher
What would be the ruling as it’s not the touch of Lams/mas’h it’s a general touch any human would do without having such bad intention as everyone have enough intellect to know what’s that touch or not,
Kindly tell it briefly

Kindly answer me the things I asked in the question,,

Is it haram to hit on someone’s face generally???
And what if I’m training with opposite gender person
Like boxing , karate ,taekwondo , (training)
As maybe the opposite gender person if they are my teacher or opponent in contest ,
Then??
As it will not be the touch of
Lams/mas’h it would be the touch of every other human be doing without having such intentions which are harmful,,,

AS mentioned in the thread, there is nothing inherently haram in these game.
If you think, you may cause permenant damage to some one then its better to avoid it. same is the case with face.According to surah noor, there are certain etiquettes of meeting with other people, if they are being practice, there is no harm with opposite gender instructors. See Discussion 30301

It’s no harm,,,right,
And besides I wanted to confirm about a narration plz tell me the context,
I don’t know if the narration is Sahih or not
But it’s spread too widely,
It’s as:
Narrated by Ana’s ibn Malik R.A
That prophet Muhammad Saw used to come in the house of umm Haram
And she used to offer him meal,
One day Prophet Muhammad Saw
Camed and she offered him (SAW)
Meal and she started looking for lice in his head,
Then he fall asleep on his lap and waked up smiling ,
Umm Haram asked the reason,
And Prophet Muhammad Saw told her
That he saw a dream ,,
Some of my followers were presented me as fighters in Allah’s cause and they were like king’s on the throne ,,
Umm Haram told Prophet Muhammad Saw to invoke Allah that he makes me one of them,,
So huzur again called asleep and woked up smiling and repeated the dream and told her she was one of them,,,
So this is the narration , is it Sahih,??
And scholars have two opinions on that,
Some say Prophet Muhammad Saw had distinctive abilities to control his desires that’s on which this narration is ,,
Some days if it were then it must be mentioned ,,,
So what’s the answer and which interpretation is the correct one I want to know,,

I am unaware of this hadith. You can open a new thread. Perhaps some other moderator or scholar will comment on it.

And yes I also agree to not to go to boxing champion bcz I might get hurt permanently or I might do a permanent damage to someone while just getting money, it is not ethically good,
I was talking about normal days when we get into fight with someone it’s normal to hit on the face,, so is it haram , I was asking in that context,, ofc it is measured by the situation that how and who you are hitting,,

It should be avoided, we cannot say it haram per say. But it will be considered a sin.
