  • Is Avoiding Relatives Takabbur Or Bad Ikhlaqi?

Posted by Muhammad Talha on August 8, 2023 at 5:41 pm

As an introvert, I tend to avoid relatives who I don’t have anything in common with and mostly the talks are unproductive and useless (Gossips). And I get drained afterwards so I try to avoid them as much as possible because mostly they say things that make me self concious and feel bad afterwards about myself for days so is it a sin if I avoid them?

Takabbur or arrogance is to look down upon others. In your condition, it is not arrogance but incompatibility. You can choose how to avoid or interact according to your convenience without hurting them.

Having said that, it is advised, it is advised that one should learn to some extent how to deal with the people one is incompatible with as life is complex and we need to learn something which we may not like
