  • What Is The Meaning Of Imperfect World?

Posted by Shamir on September 9, 2023 at 4:57 am

One question that is bothering me great, the word “Imperfect”. What does it mean by word imperfect. As in previous conversations where I was told that the world is imperfect it can not be perfect either because God has decided to make it imperfect for the following perfect world. Whenever this world comes in my mind it force me to think that if the world is imperfect then why it has so much beauty, it has plenty of opportunities for betterment, Humans have enormous potential, then the facilities it has now we can contact almost everywhere in the world. I mean a lot of goodness. But on the other side there is no justice and I know that it is because for Test. Why we only focus on the negative side of the world only?

@faisalharoon Basically I was asking why we call this world an “Imperfect” world?

Who calls this world imperfect and in what context? Without a proper reference your question cannot be substantively answered.

@faisalharoon I just don’t know how to share the previous thread where I had asked this similar question but Dr Irfan Shahzad sab’s words were The world is imperfect in every way. You can never be sure that something will have the same result because there are countless factors that change the results.

Then that effort in this world does not yield full results. Sometimes results come without effort. Justice is not perfect here. Knowledge is not complete here. etc”

@faisalharoon Your time means a lot to me, somehow I was working on my question that it took time. Discussion 84722

Actually I consider it correct that the world is imperfect in Justice but when we say that it is imperfect in every way then it’s become difficult for me to digest it.

In the discussion that you referenced above, Irfan sahab commented on the incompleteness of this world and his comment is very true. Unless we view this world in the context of the next world, it’s quite evident that this world is incomplete in many ways.

However, this world is not imperfect. Perfection of anything should be judged by its intended purpose. The purpose of this world is to test human beings, and it is perfect in that regard.

You have said absolutely right. There is no doubt that this world has many flaws but it doesn’t mean that we should only focus on its flaws and declared it an Imperfect world.

      Thank you sir!
