Are Paper Marriages Considered To Be Halal?
I have a question about paper marriages conducted in foreign countries to fulfilled the legal requirements for citizenship or other purpose. Is this halal because such thing is done for short term basis and there is no pure intention of becoming husband and wife and performing sunnah.

In that case, it’s a lie. No marriage is a legally sound marriage in Islam which is not based on the intention of establishing a permanent relationship.

ye halaal or haram ki baat nahi kyuki haram to bas kuch hi cheeze hai,mere relation me ek shadi hui unki niyat sirf abroad settle hona tha to aaj ek fareeq pareshan hai or phir bhi isliye nibha raha hai ke usne ghalat niyat se shadi nahi ki,is se to behtar hai ki ek dusre ko bata de ki maqsad settlement hai shadi uska rasta hai bas,isme atleast aap ek dusre ko dhoka to nahi de rahe
