Doing Sadaqah On Relatives
السلام عليكم!
My question is that I know the rules of Zakat, but, I want to ask about the voluntary charity, suppose, I earn $10 and I want to spend $2 in charity, usually I would give that amount to a deserving person, but, can I spend that amount once in a while on my relatives by buying them dinner or something while I also eating with them the food I bought with that money which I have specified for charity?

Spending on relatives is foremost as compared to non-relative deserving ones.
and yes, you can eat a part of your nafal charity with them.

Is it obligatory to tell them that this meal is for Sadqa?

No. There is no such requirement of charity.
