What a common is supposed to do as far as tabligh is concerned. If someone follows a particular scholar because he makes sense to him and reads his articles, watches his videos etc, should he spread the word by forwarding/sharing his articles/videos on social media or he shouldn’t do it until he does his own research about the content in those articles/videos (which is almost impossible for a common man). Would he be held accountable in front of Almighty if he shares those articles/videos with good intention but that turns out to be the wrong interpretation of Islam.

Man is responsible for his honest and qualified understanding, no matter if it is actually wrong, he will get his reward if his actions conform to his understanding. It is not possible to do research on every topic, however, a kind of trust develops when one finds the opinions of a scholar or doctor or any expert in a field reasonable, and then one follows his opinions when one makes no research. This happens in every field. However, this trust must not be blind. As soon as one finds some fault in his opinion one must stop to investigate and then share.

What should a person do when one shares articles/videos of the scholar he thinks is right and makes sense but people react inappropriately (uncivilized, rude, abusive language for that scholar). Should we still keep sharing what we think is right or stop doing it just because people are acting rudely towards that scholar and the person spreading his views. If we stop sharing, then a guilt develops that we stopped sharing/spreading something which in our understanding is HAQ. What’s your advice in such situations?

This is what you have to decide. If it is necessary to educate people, one should not stop sharing. However, Hikmah should be adopted which means what should be said at what time. This wisdom comes with experience and understanding.

As a principle, we common muslims in our individual capacity are only responsible for our immediate social circle and after that, if we get time and resources, we can choose to do dawah in other circles as well. And this obligatory dawah is regarding the obvious matters of religion and the ones which fall under maruf, munkar etc.
