Dietary Shariah – Eating The Meal Prepared By Non-Muslims
Asselamu aleykum,
Can we eat a meal prepared by our non-Muslims brothers and sisters. Also, Can we eat Iftar, which is prepared by non-Muslims in our friendship.
Furthermore, I have another question. We know from the Glorious Qur’an that we cannot eat the meat of the animal who was slaughtered in the name of someone other than Allah Almighty. But, Does this rule apply on the meat which is slaughtered by taking no one’s name, i.e by an atheists. (But the above asked queries are more important for me than this one)

Besides meat, other kinds of food like vegetables, fruits, tea, coffee, etc., prepared by non-Muslims are halal.
For meat, it is compulsory to pronounce the name of God on slaughtering animals by Christians Jews, and a non-Muslim who believes in monotheism.
Pronouncing no name on slaughtering of animals also makes the meat haram. See 6: 121
وَلَا تَأْكُلُوا مِمَّا لَمْ يُذْكَرِ اسْمُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْهِ وَإِنَّهُ لَفِسْقٌ ۗ وَإِنَّ الشَّيَاطِينَ لَيُوحُونَ إِلَىٰ أَوْلِيَائِهِمْ لِيُجَادِلُوكُمْ ۖ وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُمُوهُمْ إِنَّكُمْ لَمُشْرِكُونَ
اُن جانوروں میں سے ،البتہ ہرگز نہ کھاؤ جن کو اللہ کا نام لے کر ذبح نہیں کیا گیا اور یاد رکھو کہ بلاشبہ، یہ صریح نافرمانی ہے۔ اور متنبہ رہو کہ شیاطین اپنے ایجنٹوں کو القا کر رہے ہیں کہ وہ (اِس معاملے میں بھی) تم سے جھگڑیں۔ اور متنبہ رہو کہ اگر اِن کا کہا مانو گے تو کچھ شک نہیں کہ تم بھی مشرک ہو کر رہ جاؤ گے
