Despite the availability of a Shariah court, legal professionals have advised that opting for the Shariah court might introduce complications from the opposing party during the divorce process.”

Divorce can be obtained through any process, which is not against Shariah. If there is a ruling which contradicts Shariah then a Muslim is supposed to follow Shariah. In the absence of details, only a principle statement can be stated.
