He said iam not other than messenger of your lord here iam to give you a pure boy . Is it not indicating otherwise what we believers believe. Is there any link or video where our Ustaad Javed Ahmed Ghamidi saheb explained this in detail. Jazzakallahu khair

Please explain what we believe otherwise.

No lecture of Ghamidi Sahebon on this particular point is available according to my knowledge

What one can understand simply by going through the sentence that I am here to give you a pure boy .

Perhaps you mean that the angel was giving her the pure boy. The angel has already mentioned that he is just the messenger of God who came to her to deliver her a boy.

It is not the case what you are implying. Please read the verse carefully. The angel in his role as a “messenger” of God, is there only to convey a message from God: “ I (God) will gift you a pure boy”. This is the message. Asad’s annotated translation describes the event very well:

19:19 [The angel] answered: “I’ am but a messenger of thy Sustainer, [who says,] `I shall bestow upon thee the gift of a son endowed with purity.'”

The word used in verse is “Rasool”, not malak or angel, which naturally implies that what he is saying as a messenger (لاہب لک غلاماً زکیا) is a message from God, not his own news.
