    What is vain talk or lahw or Laghu? Are we not allowed to talk about daily life things? Will it be included in vain talk and lahw ul Hadith

      And when they hear ill speech, they turn away from it and say, “For us are our deeds, and for you are your deeds. Peace will be upon you; we seek not the ignorant.” Surah qasas verse 55

      This verse use Laghu and the meaning of Laghu as explained in above thread is useless futile so the things like listening to songs or similar things that have no results are they forbidden according to Islam?

    Any thing which lead you stray is forbidden. If musicf contains certain elements lead to stray then sort of music will also be forbidden.
