In Islam, it is said to be encouraged to walk with shoulders slightly bowed, suggesting humility. They believe that walking this way signifies modesty and respect. However, adopting this posture might negatively affect body language when ingrained in the mind. It is mentioned that even Prophet Muhammad used to walk with a slight bow. Now, the question is whether it is impermissible to stand and sit with confidence and a straight posture without arrogance.

There are no such instructions on how to keep your body while walking. The only thing which is prohibited is the show of arrogance in one’s gait. To be confident is different from being arrogant.
