Porn For Intellectual Reasons
How does Islam view a person who has a complete control on themselves and make sure to protect themselves from Zina and then decide to watch porn for curiosity and intellectual reasons.
The roots of my reasoning derive from the fact that If a believer listens to athiests and their baseless reasoning all the time just to observe the nature of their reasoning so that he sharpens his mind when he has to debate an atheist,so i am sure that it doesn’t mean that listening to athiests holistically would effect his faith. Rather it might sharpen his mind after some reasoning.
Doctors experiment mostly on a dummy which is naked or a real naked human,so that they apply their knowledge on that body.A naked body is a requirement for the student of medicine (specifically for a surgeon.)
The same way a psychology student may observe the behaviour of two people in a matter. That matter might be of any sort. If two people fight,then he would observe their behaviour and contribute to his research
So human mind is filled with curiosity and that curiosity has no bounds(correct me if i am wrong)as he has produced several disciplines in history.
So watching two people having an intimate relationship or having intercourses out of more of intellectual curiosities and less lust, to observe the nature of act and making sure there is no zina in real life,how is this in the sight of islam?
2)Also if porn is a minor sin,then would it still be a sin after the reasoning i gave?

Porn is fahashi. It may lead to zina. Therefore, it is forbidden to watch it. No such excuse can turn a haram into halal. The example of atheism is not analogous. Atheism is an ideological position, God has tolerated it, but not Fahashi. The doctor’s examination of a body is a necessity, watching porn is not of that sort.

If watching porn leads to zina, all the acts towards zina are counted, but it does not lead to zina then still it goes against the purification of the soul which is a position not supposed to be holding by a Muslim.
