Walima Timing
Salaam all,
Today my question is about the timing of valima. After the Nikkah ceremony in December 2024, we plan to have the valima in February 2025. This is because of the groom’s work schedule. Is the two month delay allowed by Islamic standards? Thanks you.

If the nikah has been done publically, then yes you can do that. Walima is not sunnah. Please see for details Discussion 84621
