Status Of A Person Who Hasn't Searched For The Truth In His Life
Posted by Sadiqa Ali on January 11, 2024 at 5:11 amI know that someone who knowingly rejects truth is a disbeliever I understand that but Someone who haven’t search for truth in his whole life and went on on his own path whatever he believes in would that count as a disbeliever too?

[They should take heed:] We have created many among the jinn and men for Hell. They have hearts through which they do not understand. They have eyes through which they do not see. They have ears through which they do not hear. They are like animals. In fact, they are even more misguided. They are the ones who are totally heedless.

Member January 12, 2024 at 12:10 pmSo does that means that every non Muslim has to search for truth on his own? Like even if they believe that what they are doing is right and still they have to look in other religions? Or else they would be kafir?

Scholar January 14, 2024 at 9:46 pmIt is the responsibility of every conscious person, not only of non-Muslims to investigate the truth. An ignorant Muslim is no better than an ignorant non-Muslim. To know about our creator is the biggest question, one cannot ignore or go without deciding about it. To be interested in religion is a separate thing, but to know about God is what a conscious person cannot ignore.

Scholar January 22, 2024 at 12:12 amThis is a contradiction, not possible that a person knows or has realized the truth and still rejects it. He can’t have an excuse then.
God knows the secrets of hearts. So no false excuse or no valid excuse can escape his justice.
