Hi, I am an American Muslim, I am currently based in Saudi Arabia and you can find non alcoholic beers very easily. Heineken, Erdinger, Budweiser 0.0. But all of these non alcoholic beers whether they mention it or not has an alcohol content as low 0.03 ABV for Heineken 0.0, 0.05% for Guinness Stout. The ABV percentage is so low that the companies usually don’t even mention it and you can never get drunk with that percentage. Simply impossible. What do you think if it is haram or halal even though a small quantity even 0.03% is there? Why it is being sold in Saudi Arabia being a strict Muslim country?

The principle in such case is if the drink intoxicate in large quantity, then its smaller quantities are also prohibited.

If your statement is true then it will be ok to use it.

For your second question, please note, for us Quran and Sunnah are authority. If any act goes against these sources of Islam, we reject it either it is done by whole Muslim community. Because majority or Saudia Arabia has no authority over Islam.
