As for those who disbelieve and deny Our signs, they are the residents of the Hellfire. Surah maida verse 10

What does deny our signs mean here? Does this denying comes under deliberate rejection? And what signs is this verse talking about?

A deliberate denial is called Kufr.

The word Ayah or sign is used for both the signs in nature the observable phenomena and the signs brought about by God in the forms of miracles, and the verses of the divine books which hold the essential truth confirmed by our sense of Haq. The Jews, as well as the Quresh, denied all these signs to stay on their denial of the holy prophet as the messenger of God.

So does the denying of these ayat in this verse indicates the denial out of arrogance and stubbornness?

The punishment of denying deliberately and not denying deliberately the same?

Why is denial out of arrogance or stubbornness? Can it not be because someone couldn’t grasp the full concept or isn’t convinced properly?

Deliberate denial means, that one has realized that it is truth and yet refuses to accept it. The one who could not grasp the full concept has not realized that it is truth, so his denial is not deliberate.

Punishment is only for a deliberate denial.
