Who Was The First Muslim?
The standard logic is clear: Adam (AS) was the first Muslim. He was the first Prophet of Allah. However, in the Quran, it states, “And I am commanded to be the first of those who submit ˹to His Will˺.”
This is Allah speaking to Prophet Muhammad (SWS), telling him to say that he is the first of those who submit his will. So is he claiming to be the first Muslim?
