If a part of my clothes gets an impurity on it and I wash that part only without taking off my clothes, would any water from that part (while washing) touching another part of clothes or the water on my hands while washing it make my clothes or hands impure?? Please elaborate on how we need to wash impure part of clothes if it is very small. Does washing it make our hands impure with the water that has passed over the impure part? What about the water that may reach other parts of clothing near the impure part or water reaching the other side of socks if I’m washing one side that was impure?

Washing is usually done with caution so that the dirty water may not fall on one’s clothes. If dirtly water falls on the clothes, then it makes them impure too. Once the washing is done, the hands are clean too.

If I wash my one of my socks by wearing it on my hand to wash the impure part, would the water reaching the other side make my hand and the other side impure? Or after washing it two or three times I should consider the water reaching the other side to be pure hence making the other side and my hand pure?

Also, what if there is just one drop of urine on a part of my clothes and I pour water on that part from the tap then is my hand underneath that part to be washed separately or is it pure too? Does pouring water once do the job?

In washing water spreads but when washing is done, the piece of garment is considered pure including hands.
