    Assalamualaikum,

As Farahi school of thought has introduced Nazm e Quran, context, text and other literary approaches to understand the Quran.. .. this approach reached its culmination under Ghamidi sahab and puts the Quran at the highest position as Hakkam, Meezan and Furqan…. , the verdict of which by anyone or anything even by hadith, ijjma or prophet can’t be nullified…. then:

    1) can we say that the understanding and meaning of the word and verses of the Quran under this approach is always only one and that can be claimed as the correct and final..?

    2) Has this method and approach reached its perfection and can be claimed as the only right understanding…?

    3) Why the understanding of Farahi and Aslahi sahab is different than Ghamidi sahab in various points, words and verses of Quran…?

    4) Has this method and approach been acknowledged, accepted and endorsed by the eminent scholars of the world especially in the Arab world… ?

    Kindly explain

    Thank you

    1) Yes. According to them, there should be only one interpretation.

    2) There is always room for improvement. There might be some aspects which may become more precise at a later stage.

    3) Yes there are some differences. For instance, Molana Farahi divided the Quran into 9 groups, while Molana Ahsan and Ghamidi sb insist on 7 groups.

    4) The concept of nazm has always been there. However, the work of Molana Farahi provided a solid foundation for the concept. I think it is still to be recognized by the scholars of Arab. Few scholars from India has acknowledged the nazm concept but it is still not accepted widely.
