    Are Reciting Wazaif Biddah?

    There are many books of “duas” & “wazaif” in which different verses are given with certain effects. For example if you are in a difficult situation read

    ARABIC: لَآ اِلٰهَ اِلَّآ اَنتَ سُبحٰنَکَ اِنِّی کُنتُ مِنَ الظَّالِمِینَ

    There are other verses too, with advice to read in different situations

    Is it “biddah”? Is it permissible in Islam to do so?

    Please give advice
