  • Is Itmam-E-Hujjah Victory Of Prophet Jesus (AS) Still Pending?

    Assalamualaikum!

Allah swt says in Surah Mujadilah verse 21 that it is a written constitution of Allah swt that He and His Rasool, all come victorious over the rejectors/and non believers (after Itmam e Hujjat of course).

At another point, Allah swt has said that you will not find a change in His Sunnah.

Hazrat Isa (AS) did complete the proof to the Jews he was sent towards. But since people started coming after his life, Allah swt lifted him up.

    1) When did he become victorious over his people? Isn’t that Allah’s Sunnah that his Rasool dominates?

    2) And if we take these two above mentioned ayahs of the Holy Quran in conjunction with the two ayahs that Ghamidi Saheb presents to refute the second coming of Jesus, doesn’t the matter become clear that so far this promise of Allah is pending as far as Jesus Christ is concerned, and it will be fulfilled near the day of judgement?

Mufti Kamran Shehzad has presented this idea in part 6 of his rebuttal series:

According to Allah, the presence of the prophet is not required for his victory. In fact no project was there when his nation perished. They migrated from the land before the scourge fell. The same goes to Isa. He was taken away from the land and people who were going to perish.

This has been stated in the Qur’an as that whether a prophet does or stays alive, whether he cloud witness the fate of his people or not, his and his God’s opponents are going to be humiliated Ans perish.

See the verses Yunu 46, al Raad 40, Ghafir 77.

So the words that prophet will come victorious are used in metaphorical sense? Meaning that his warnings will come true?

Yes, it is his warnings that come true.
