This argument that since the nature of veil of this test is different for Jinns therefore there test would be reduntant is not valid because we know that Iblees committed Kufr even in front of God (where apparently there was no veil) and secondly, the veil is not lifted completely for them; yes they can see some metaphysical realities better than humans but there is a limit to their reach which ends at the end of this universe (or Zameeni aasman). It is also important to mention that great power also makes one prone to commit arrogance (the way we saw with Iblees), therefore despite the fact that their veil is dfferent than ours, still it does not absolve them from committing major sins like arrogance. We also know for a fact that like humans, jinns have also been put through a test of ‘ibadah‘ (ibadah in a broader sense of the meaning as per Quran 51:56) in this world but we have a very limited knowledge regarding further details of their test. Therefore, considering all the above points, the scheme of their test cannot be declared redundant altogether instead it has a different nature of potency which comes with more power and more knowledge.
