What is this contradiction? My friends argued with me a lot on this last night. Please give me proof from quran. Is belief in Muhammad saw not required as a foundation to be forgiven on judgement day?

Please read Ghamidi saheb essay Muslim and Non Muslim in his book Maqamaat.
It is only outright deliberate denial which is kufr. If a Muslim interprets his view differently and he insists that this is what he actually understands it this way, he is not a kafir.
