Nowadays, Islam is being filled with several innovations from different cultures, destroying the essence of Islam. What are some common biddah’s that should be avoided during Ramadan?

Kindly name those practices which you consider objectionable during Ramdhan so that a specific answer can be provided?

Apologies. Would things like verbally reciting your intention to make and break your fast be considered innovations?

There is nothing wrong with making a verbal recitation of Niyyah at an individual level (It is not compulsory because Niyyah at heart is enough and sufficient).

Prophet (sws) is not reported to say any such verbal recitation at the time of making his fasts (i.e. sehri) however, there are a couple of verbal recitations reported from the Prophet Muhammad (SwS) at the time of breaking his fasts.
