Zakaat On Income And Assets
When i use zakaat calculator on ask.ghamidi.org, the income tax i pay per month also accommodates the zakaat on assets and my due calculates to zero.
I pay 30% income tax on my salary monthly. Could my 20% extra that i pay, count for zakaat on assets?

Taxes are counted as zakat. Zakat is wealth tax, imposed by Allah.
