Soum Compensation
My father is mentally retarded but owns 10 acer. I have 2 brothers and one of them is mentally retarded whereas the one is partially mentally retarded. Now, the problem is my father and one brother do not observe fast. Who is supposed to pay their compensation (Roza Qaza krna ki) because I work in govt. Sector and though earns a good amount but I am saving some for my marriage ceremony and the remaining is spend on household stuff. I don’t take anything from the land except the rice and grains. Now, who is supposed to pay it? Will I be guilty for not paying for their compensation?

No one is to pay his fidya. The injunctions of Shariah address a sane person. if he is not sane, no one else has to fulfill his duties towards shariah.
