Isn’t the way to verify Sunnah based upon singular books of previous people of knowledge and doesn’t that make this verification process based on khabr e waahid?

Like suppose if you exclude and remove all Muslim books (except The Holy Quran) which are all individual works, for a while, how would a Muslim scholar verify Sunnah?
