    Brother,

It is mentioned in Quran that when Allah commanded Iblis to prostrate before Adam (AS), he refused and was granted respite till the day of resurrection. On the other hand, Iblis tempted Adam (AS) to ignore Allah’s command after which Allah sent him on earth and informed that he will live there, die and then resurrected.

Did this incident of Adam (AS) not obeying Allah’s command occurred before or after refusal of Iblis to prostrate before Adam (AS)? If it occurred after the refusal of Iblis to prostrate before Adam (AS), how Iblis new beforehand that Adam (AS) will be sent on earth, will die and get resurrected?

In Surah Al Baqarah the incidents are told in chronological order. God announced that he was going to send man to the earth. the angels put up their query that the man would cause Fasad on the land. God told them He knows better than them. Then he ordered all to bow down to Adam. Here comes Iblis who refused.

On ther places, it is told that He requested God to grant him the respite till the day of resurrection, but God did not grant him his request, instead, he gave his respite till an appointed time.

Then Adam was asked to say for while in the paradise after which he has to go to the earth, but Iblis tempted him to taste the forbidden fruit and caused him expelled from the paradise.

From your argument it means that Adam was pre-destined to be sent on earth, whether he would have eaten the forbidden fruit or not and he was sent on earth as a plan of God and not as a punishment. So, why would Iblis entice Adam to commit sin and get him expelled from the paradise, when it was already decided that Adam would be sent on earth? Secondly, had Adam followed God’s advice and not eaten the forbidden fruit what difference would it have had made?

      Please clarify.

Iblis committed to make human disobey God because of whom he was cursed by God. He just made Adam disobey God. His expulsion is decided by God.

If Adam had not committed the mistake he would have been sent to the earth later according to schedule God knew. And then the same life with all its credentials would have started. there would be no difference.
