We all understand that being a little selfish is sometimes needed because if we’re not selfish at all, it can be foolish. I want to know when it’s okay to be selfish, when it’s too much, and when it’s just plain wrong or immoral.

Selfish is a negative term used in comparison when one harms others to avail a benefit. To take care of oneself is not selfishness. If one commits an act of selfishness, one knows it and one should avoid it.
