What Should Have Been Our Stance If The “Traditional Narrative” Was True?
This is regarding the Dallas Lectures given by Ghamidi Sb covering the Traditional and Counter-Narratives of Islam.
As I finished watching the Traditional Narrative part, I couldn’t stop but think – “What should have been our stances if God forbid the Traditional Narrative was true?”.
The following are some options:
- Should we have been true to it and strived like all other groups did, engaging in all the madness and yes, justifying it?
- Should we have abandoned such a religion (based on moral grounds)?
- Would this have proved Islam to be a false religion?
If I recall correctly, I remember Ghamidi Sb proposing the first point albeit in a humorous way but did not address this question that I am asking.
