Itikaf Masjid Boundaries
Asalam Alikum. What are mosque boundaries for itikaf. Some scholars say you cannot go beyond prayer area/musallah to some masjid other facilities and masjid parking lot. Can we go outside briefly just for fresh air within masjid parking lot boundaries?

One should spend more of one’s time within the mosque. However since it is a Nafal prayer therefore there are not hard rules defined for it. The restrictions generally assumed have no basis.

JazakAllah. It seems their consensus since they said masjid restrooms, madarasa, cafeteria… are not inclusive of masjid
