What Islam says about moral Policing. In today’s society in India we often see that people are catching girls going with their male friend termed as boyfriend.Then they harrase them call their parents.And situation gets worse if male friend is non Muslim.They abuse them beat them.All thay do in the name of Islam saying that we have to protect our girls.
What Islam says about this.May be Girlfriend boyfriend culture is not acceptable in Islam but does this give right to people to do all these things ?

Islam is taught and adopted, not imposed.
A common man has no right to impose his agenda on others with force. Islam does not approve of it. It leads to Fasad fi Ard. Everyone will have a license to beat others according to their agendas or ideas.
In personal matters, even the Muslim government has no right to interfere unless a cognizable offense takes place.
This is a matter of teaching moral values and fear of God and the consequences of Zina to young ones.
