Zuhr and asr prayers, and maghrib and Isha prayers can be combined in illness to avoid hardship. Can fajr also be combined with zuhr in hardship? Or does fajr prayer have less relaxation than other prayers?

Fair is not combined with any other prayer. It has to be performed separately.

      Thank you.

What about delaying it in illness? Under the category of unusual difficulty?

Correction: “Fajr” is not combined with other prayers.

If you are conscious, you cannot delay a prayer beyond the proscribed limits. You can see that The prayers during the battle was not allowed to be delayed. You can change the form of the prayer for your convenience like offer to while sitting or lying down or with gestures etc.

Follow-up question: I have heard a hadith in which a man said people from his family had difficulty waking up early and the Prophet said to him to pray when he woke up. Does this not mean that unusual difficulty waking up allows for praying fajr after its time?

Kindly give reference to Hadith so that we can examine it.

The most known Hadiths suggests that you must try to pray on time and due to a problem like forgetting and oversleeping, then prayer becomes due as soon as one remembers it or wakes up. But the intention should be that you will pray on time, so you set the alarm with the intention to pray on time and if you fail to wake up on time then you pray as soon as you wake up.

You cannot intentionally delay a prayer without a good reason.

I understand the point. Dr Irfan’s reply was also clear. The hadith was in a video of ghamidi saab:

Do not believe what you hear unless it is authentic and conforms to the established directives of religion.

But I heard this hadith on the program, “Ilm o Hikmat,” from a video that was shared on a question regarding Fajr on this platform. I’ll refer that video to you

This is the video and I don’t know how to share a discussion but its title was: delaying fajr due to sleep

This is about accidental or occasional happening when one stayed slept and missed his prayer. Then he needs to offer his prayer as soon as he woke up. This is not sinful. This is the case. It doesn’t mean that one is allowed to keep sleeping if it is difficult for him to wake up. To wake is difficult for all. This is not excused.
