Hello sir, I want to know how you should approach reading an ideological book or any ideology. Should we read it to counter it? Or should we reject it at the beginning? Or should we read it to understand it? Or should we accept it from the start?
I heard Ghamidi sahab saying, when discussing how to read philosophy or atheism, that one should reject their ideological framework at the beginning and then read it for a constructive understanding.
I want to know, because I’ve heard incidents where someone read the Quran to disprove it, and they ended up believing it.
So when I give the Quran or any general principle to my friend, how should I ask them to read it? Should I tell them to read it objectively, or to read it for constructive criticism, or just to accept it at the beginning and then read it?
I hope I have successfully explained my question to you. Because it is important for me to determine my approach too.
