  Forgiving A Loan Instead Of Paying Zakat

  I want to know the answer of the following case scenario?

  Agar aik shakhs named “Bakar” ne “Zaid” se qarz liya ha. Aur Bakar us qarz ko wapis karney ki position me nahi ha due to his financial condition. Aur Zaid ne apni annual zakat ada karni ha. To kya is situation me zaid bakar ka qarz maaf kar k apni zakat ada kar skta ha??

  Note : Zaid ki financial condition aesi ha k wo ya to zakat ada kar skta ha ya qarz maaf kar skta ha. Wo dono chezen alehda nahi karskta.

  Zakat should be calculated as prescribed. If it is greater or equal to the money lent to a needy person, that loan can be forgiven and deducted from the zakat due.
