Is Life A Test?
Considering that Islam is a logical religion and the purpose of life in Islam is a test.
But life doesn’t meet all and some crucial criteria of a test.
1. In a test, everyone knows for certain that they are taking a test, but as a whole very few people in the world know that life as a test. Life as a test and a certainty should have been established in everyone’s mind from birth.
2. The end result of a test is a definite and a clearly understandable reward and no punishment. Yet if we fail the test of life, there is extreme and eternal punishment. On the otherhand, there is no distinct, clear or tangible reward but just a concept of paradise if someone passes the test.
Furthermor, there is hardly any test in this world that can’t be retaken, if failed a few times, but there is only one opportunity to take and pass the test of life.
In a test all opportunities are given to prepare for the test, yet life provides no opportunity to prepare to pass the test.
People mostly struggle throughout the life just to survive. How can they spare time to explore numerous religions to find the truth. Not everyone has the time or intellectual ability to research and identify a true religion.
