Ghamidi Sb mentions a Hadith that says if one doesn’t commit adultery and comes back and repents then the preceding acts can be forgiven but I am unable to find any such words in the Hadith. -

It is from Qur’an, based on the principle mentioned in the verse 4:31.
It doesn’t mean one should deliberate commit minor sins. It is like paying with fire.
