Interest On Provident Fund
Assalam o Alaikum !
I am a government employee and we have a compulsory provident fund. We have options of increasing our savings in that provident fund and also to opt for interest in it. My question is it permissible to increase it and furthermore take interest on it ? If yes then please give a little explanation for understanding of this matter !
