Correcting Mistakes In Namaz
I was praying namaz I stand up for the second rakah and unintentionally started reciting surah of Quran which we recite after fatiha so I realised when I was reciting the surah of Quran that I haven’t recited surah fatiha. So I stopped that surah there and started reciting surah fatiha and continued my prayer. Is this method correct?

That’s fine. If you could have recited the surah after surah fatiha it would be better. In such cases one should perform sajda e sehw at the end.
