God’S Qualities And His Verses
When I want to think of God, I remember His qualities, such as He the most merciful, the loving, the gentle, the caring etc. But then I read the verses, they feel so strict, it causes dissonance in my mind because the feeling I get from the verses as compared to remembering God’s qualities is vastly different.
I am pretty much sure I am not thinking of the verses in the correct context, that’s why. How should I interpret them to give me information about how God is to us?

God is both the most merciful and a sever punisher. There is no contradiction in both kinds of His attributes. He is merciful to the ones who are loyal to Him and He finishes those who rebel against Him. If he is all merciful He won’t be punishing the mischievous and this will always Him weak and whole scheme of life a joke. He is wise and knowledgeable. He can’t do anything unwise.
