Meaning Of Jilbaab
What is the jilbaab? In the hadith cited beneath, it is mentioned that the women appeared like they had crows over their head but makes no mention of covering the faces. Is this hadith sahih? Many thanks in advance.

Jalbab means Chaadar or a big chaadar which the women put on dress. To cover the face was not the purpose or the only style to take this chaadar, nor the style mentioned in thr hadith is its prescribed style.

Yes.
Moreover the purpose of this jalbab in the verse was to use it as a deterrent to end the excuse of the mischievous one who use to tease women when they come out of thier home at night. This was a measure before the police action against them. This is not for normal circumstances.
