How much zeenat makes it compulsory to cover everything but the face, hands and feet? Does even wearing one piece of jewellery, or light makeup or just formal clothing obliges a woman to wear the hijab?

There is no directives of hijab in Islam. There are some etiquettes of meeting of men Ans women which have been taught in sura 24:31. Adornments are to be covered except for what usually stays exposed in the presence of men. Adornment on face and hands can stay exposed.
