The one who admits that he or she does not accept God as one or does not believe in God at all is admitting his kufr, we can call them kafir. It means the one has denied believing in God or one God.

There is no dispute on this point. The point which is disputed is that a person does not admit he is kafir, and someone insists that he is kafir. this is what no one has jurisdiction to call him or her kafir.

Dr. Irfan sahb: please also explain if “kufr” includes the following or not?

      denial of:

angels, Allah’s books, prophets, bodily resurrection, day of judgement, heaven and hell, Allah’s direct and indirect interventions in all and every moment of time.

Any belief which is denied is kufr. It is simple. When one says. I do not accept it. It is kufr. However when someone says he doesn’t believe in something the same You believe but he did believe in a different way and he gives his interpretation. This person is not denying, or refusing to believe. Therefore we cannot say he is kafir.
