Mercy Killing Of An Animal (euthanasia)
When is it appropriate to perform euthanasia on an animal, and when is it not? Is euthanasia considered murder? For instance, if you or I found a dying kitten, saved it, and brought it home for proper care, but later realized we couldn’t provide the necessary care and feared it might end up back on the streets, would it be ethical to euthanize the kitten to prevent further suffering? Would it be unjust to euthanize the kitten after saving it, or should we have just let it die initially?

After utilizing all your efforts and resources if You think it is not possible to relieve an animal from his suffering that which is unbearable for him. You can euthanize him. It will not be not a murder.
