Prophets were sent for continuous Inzar of Bani-Israel so that they can fulfil their responsibility of Shahdah on other nations. Torat is a book of law primarily. It is only Quran which preserves both Hidaya and Universal Inzar (including itmam-e-hujjah and its results transmitted as established history) in their pristine forms and has taken the place of a prophet till the day of judgement.
