Fiqh is understanding of a shariah by a scholar or a group of scholars. They may be different in some things. A Muslim follow Qur’an and Sunnah, Ans when he needs guidance he has to follow opinion of an expert in religious sciences he trusts on the basis of argument that satisfies him. He is not bound to follow a particular scholar or schools of thought.

Then why at birth we are being labeled with a Fiaqah? Like being enslaved forever? Can I follow opinion of a an expert in situation A and then opinion of another expert in situation B? Thank you for your time and guidance. May Allah bless you with wisdom.
